Awareness and knowledge about the brain- the main engine that drives our body, is essential. All the scientific inventions of today are created by the brain power of the scientists around the world. On an average, we use only 5-10% of our brain power. The remaining 90-95% lies dormant and unstimulated. By stimulating a few parts of our brain, we can convert this 5% into 50%, and even 80%. Our brain has immense power. Just as a candle burns by igniting it, we too can ignite our brains in the desired way, calm it down, and enrich our lives. This article discusses the important information about epilepsy- its symptoms, what to do if it occurs, and why it occurs (pathophysiology of epilepsy). There are many misconceptions about epilepsy in our society which are also clarified here.
